BEARS NAME FULL SIDE

REDCAR have moved for Poole’s double-winning captain Danny King who will head to the Ecco Arena in the 2023 season.

King’s release by the Pirates was announced last week and he now makes the move to the Bears to take a heat-leader berth with Erik Riss and Charles Wright, who are both retained from this year.

The Bears’ other returning rider from 2022 is Jason Edwards, who will start at reserve alongside new signing Jake Mulford who will make his Championship debut – with both Edwards and Wright signed on two-year deals.

And there are two new faces in the middle-order for the North-East side with Danyon Hume joining the club after an impressive season with Glasgow, and James Shanes coming in from Birmingham.
