SAM HAPPY TO PLAY IT AGAIN

SKIPPER Sam Masters has been reflecting on his time with Wolverhampton after sealing his return once again in 2023.

It will be a seventh straight season for the Aussie, who made his debut with the Monmore side during their last league success in 2016.

Masters said: “It’s been very successful for myself since coming here; I’ve progressed a lot as a rider and I’ve made plenty of good mates through this club as well.

“We’ve had plenty of teams good enough to win the league since that first year I came to Wolves, but for some reason we haven’t been able to get over the line.

“But I think if we could keep a pretty similar team to last year we’d have a good solid base to build around to give it another good go at winning that title again.”
