PREVIEW: ARMADALE v LEICESTER (NDL)

ARMADALE host Leicester tonight (Friday) in the final fixture of the regular NDL campaign – and potentially the last-ever meeting at the venue.

The Devils need a win to move off the foot of the table whilst the Lion Cubs have already finished top and are preparing for Sunday’s Grand Final at Mildenhall.

The home side bring in Owen Booth at reserve, whilst the Cubs have rider replacement for the unavailable Max Perry – but Dan and Joe Thompson are now available after the postponement of the Championship Grand Final at Poole.

Armadale boss Alan Budzynski said: “When Belle Vue came knocking at our door I was really optimistic that we had a chance to take the match by the scruff of the neck and deliver what most people would have thought was an upset.

“The determination was there to be seen and no-one was going to let this match slip through their fingers.

“Friday’s visitors will be no pushover by any means, but the lads are determined to finish the season with a bang! Don’t discount them just yet. It promises to be a very exciting match.”

ARMADALE: Lee Complin, Josh Embleton, Danny Phillips, Elliot Kelly, Tom Woolley, Gregor Millar, Owen Booth.
LEICESTER: Dan Thompson, Max Perry r/r, Connor Coles, Tom Spencer, Joe Thompson, Vinnie Foord, Mickie Simpso
