BRUMMIES RETAIN BACKING

BIRMINGHAM’S 2023 preparations are off to a positive start with three of the club’s biggest backers staying on board.

Aldridge-based programme publishers Curtis Sport have agreed to remain as main team sponsors for a second straight season with the Championship club.

Meanwhile, Tolley Badges, who increased the level of their support during 2022, will return as associate team sponsors, and Youth speedway will continue to be backed at Perry Barr with plenty of second half racing opportunities thanks to the generosity of Ductair Electrics Ltd.

Co-promoter Laurence Rogers said: “To say some clubs are still racing in 2022, for us to already have three of our main sponsors back on board for 2023 is brilliant.

“Those three companies backed us superbly this year and to have them commit to us again for next season is a great way to start the work behind the scenes.

“We want to thank them for sticking with us, for understanding what we’re trying to build here with the Brummies and long may it continue – we’re determined to try and make sure they’re involved in something really special in 2023.”
