PREVIEW: OXFORD v KENT (NDL)

OXFORD host Kent in a crucial NDL contest at Cowley tonight (Wednesday) which will see at least one team eliminated from the play-off race.

The sides are level on 23 points heading into their final fixture, and the winners will overhaul Belle Vue into fourth place and pile the pressure on the Colts to respond when they visit Armadale next week.

Should tonight’s fixture be drawn, both sides will remain outside the top four and Belle Vue’s place will be secure.

Oxford again operate rider replacement for the injured Nathan Stoneman whilst Adam Roynon comes in to guest for Sam Hagon, who is racing abroad, and Kai Ward stands in at reserve for Jacob Clouting, who is absent following the birth of his son.

Kent welcome back skipper Danno Verge but are without No.1 Max Clegg, unbeaten by an opponent since joining the club, due to Championship commitments, with Lee Complin coming in to guest.

OXFORD: Jordan Jenkins, Nathan Stoneman r/r, Adam Roynon, Jody Scott, Henry Atkins, Arran Butcher, Kai Ward.
KENT: Lee Complin, Sam Woods, Danno Verge, Connor King, Ben Morley, Chris Watts, Sam Woolley.
