BRITISH FINAL LINE-UP CONFIRMED
THE line-up has been confirmed for the re-staging of the Sports Insure British Final Championship at Belle Vue on Sunday (3pm).
The event returns to the National Speedway Stadium after the weather intervened in the original attempt to run the meeting on August 1, when rain forced the abandonment after Heat 12.
There is one change from last month’s line-up with Danyon Hume ruled out due to a broken collarbone. His place is taken by former champion Craig Cook, who had been ruled out of the original by injury.
The meeting will also feature the Nigel Pearson Award with supporters invited to vote after Heat 20 for their most entertaining rider from a short-list of four, as the sport pays tribute to the much-loved writer and broadcaster who passed away earlier this year.
LINE-UP: Connor Mountain, Leon Flint, Chris Harris, Steve Worrall, Kyle Howarth, Dan Bewley, Paul Starke, Craig Cook, Charles Wright, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Richie Worrall, Danny King, Scott Nicholls, Adam Ellis, Tom Brennan. Reserves: Jordan Jenkins, Jack Shimelt.
