PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v BERWICK & PLYMOUTH (NDL)

MILDENHALL will look to secure National Development League play-off qualification when they wrap up their regular campaign with a double header at West Row today (Sunday, 2pm).

The Fen Tigers host leaders Berwick and then Plymouth, and two wins will ensure their place in the top four.

They track Connor Coles as a guest for the injured James Shanes, with rider replacement in operation for Sam Bebee, whilst Josh Warren moves into the main body of the side with Alex Spooner going to reserve.

Co-boss Jason Gardner said: “The side have really been rising to the occasion at the right time of the season.

“Josh is certainly in great form, and I have absolutely no qualms at all about him moving up into the top five – two of his heats last Sunday were probably the best he’d had this year.

“And Alex into reserve? Well, after scores of paid 12, paid nine & paid 13 in his three matches since coming back into the team suggest to me that we are going to be just as strong with this change in riding order.”

Berwick are at full strength for the opening fixture of the day, with Plymouth using Kyle Bickley as a guest for Dan Gilkes at No.1, and Tim Colley stands in at reserve.

MILDENHALL: Jason Edwards, Josh Warren, Sam Bebee r/r, Jack Kingston, Connor Coles, Luke Muff, Alex Spooner.
BERWICK: Kyle Bickley, Ace Pijper, Mason Watson, Luke Crang, Greg Blair, Kieran Douglas, Ben Rathbone.
PLYMOUTH: Kyle Bickley, Ben Trigger r/r, Rhys Naylor, Richard Andrews, Adam Roynon, Tim Colley, David Abraham.
