BRITS BATTLE HARD

GREAT Britain youngsters Luke Harrison and Ace Pijper both gave creditable displays in the FIM SGP3 Final at Wroclaw on Friday.

Harrison finished in tenth place on six points, with Pijper classified 13th on five in a high-profile 250cc event staged the day before the latest round of the senior Grand Prix series.

The title was won by Danish rider Mikkel Andersen, son of former Coventry and Oxford star Brian, whose individual career highlight was a win in the 1997 British Grand Prix at Bradford.
