STARS SIGN JAKOBSEN

KING’S Lynn have announced the signing of Danish star Frederik Jakobsen as they look to launch a winning run in their last eight matches.

Jakobsen, who rode for Poole in 2018, replaces Lewis Kerr, who has been released by the Stars ahead of Monday’s Premiership trip to Sheffield.

Manager Alex Brady said: “Frederik was keen to join us, and we’re delighted to get the deal over the line with still a decent number of meetings remaining.

“It means we have an Ekstraliga rider coming in at reserve with the potential for me to give him seven rides, and that gives us a good opportunity.

“We’ve come to a mutual agreement with Lewi, and we’d like to wish him all the very best and thank him for his commitment to the club over many years.”
