PREVIEW: GLASGOW v EDINBURGH (CJL)

THE Scottish section of the Championship Jubilee League will be resolved between fierce rivals Glasgow and Edinburgh at Ashfield today (Sunday).

The Monarchs lead the standings on nine points but the Tigers, who have six, have a better race-points difference.

That means Sunday’s equation is straightforward: a home win for Glasgow by seven or more points will take them into the Final, whilst the Monarchs need to restrict the Tigers to a six-point victory or less, thus taking one league point at the very least.

Both teams use guests for their injured No.1 riders with Richard Lawson stepping in for Glasgow whilst Edinburgh call upon Ryan Douglas.

Tigers boss Cami Brown said: “We’ve given ourselves a chance – and (Sunday) is now a proper meeting which the guys are fired up for.”

GLASGOW: Richard Lawson, Danyon Hume, Ulrich Ostergaard, Benjamin Basso, Tom Brennan, Broc Nicol, Connor Bailey.
EDINBURGH: Ryan Douglas, Lasse Fredriksen, Kye Thomson, Paco Castagna, Josh Pickering, James Sarjeant, Jacob Hook.
