BRENNAN’S BIG NIGHT

IN-FORM Belle Vue star Tom Brennan is relishing the prospect of Monday’s Sports Insure British Final Championship on his home Premiership track.

Brennan has recently stepped up into the main body of the Aces’ line-up and has kept up his strong scoring run at the National Speedway Stadium.

And having starred for GB in the SON2 on Friday, he is looking to keep the momentum going in the national showpiece event amongst top competition.

Brennan said: “Dan (Bewley) is obviously back for it, Adam Ellis will want to defend his title – all of these guys are riding really good, so for me to be able to try and show everyone what I can do on my home track will be fantastic.

“I haven’t really set any targets for the meeting; I just want to go out there and do the best I can.

“If I come away knowing that I’ve given my best then that will be enough for me.”
