PREVIEW: OXFORD v BERWICK (Champ)
RECENT Oxford signing Aaron Summers faces his former club when the Cheetahs host Berwick at Cowley tonight (Wednesday).
The teams are in the lower reaches of the Championship but the Bandits could still mathematically make the play-offs due to their matches in hand.
The home side operate rider replacement for Paul Starke, who has failed a fitness test, whilst Adam Roynon guests for the injured Josh Macdonald.
Summers said: “I’m really happy how it’s gone for me at Oxford so far. I just had the one home meeting at home to Leicester which wasn’t so good.
“At times, I’ve been finding the exact set up that works the best around Oxford, but I think we’re definitely moving in the right direction.
“It was a good win against Plymouth last week and we just want to keep it going for the rest of the season.”
The Bandits, meanwhile, are at full strength at the start of a busy period which sees them involved in three different competitions.
Boss Gary Flint said: “One or two riders showed signs of getting over their recent slumps against Poole and we will need everyone firing on all cylinders this week.”
