PREVIEW: REDCAR v BERWICK (Champ)

REDCAR hand a debut to Kyle Bickley against his former club as the Bears host Berwick in the Championship tonight (Friday).

Bickley, who was released by the Bandits last month, has replaced Adam Roynon for the Ecco Arena outfit and starts at reserve for his new side.

Both teams are at full strength and the effect of recent results is that the Bears start the meeting outside the play-off places, whilst the Bandits are looking to move off the bottom.

Bickley said: “It’s time to kick on personally, I’m now a Redcar rider and I want to help the team push up the league and progress as far as possible in the KO Cup.

“I don’t have any hard feelings towards Berwick, it’s just speedway at the end of the day. It would be nice, however, to go out and score a few points and prove a point! I have been having some bike problems but I am hoping they are now in the past.”

REDCAR: Charles Wright, Jason Edwards, Erik Riss, Kasper Andersen, Lewis Kerr, Kyle Bickley, Jordan Jenkins.
BERWICK: Chris Harris, Theo Pijper, Jye Etheridge, Ricky Wells, Leon Flint, Jonas Knudsen, Nathan Stoneman.
