LIONS HIT 60 MARK

LEICESTER duo Kyle Howarth and Nick Morris both scored maximums in a crushing 60-30 home win over Redcar.

The Lions maintained their position at the top of the Championship with another powerful showing at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena, with Morris lowering the track record to 59.81 in the opening race.

Howarth’s 15 and Morris’s 12 were added to by Richie Worrall on 12+2, whilst Charles Wright picked up 11 for the Bears.

Leicester boss Stewart Dickson said: “Redcar are a very good side and after tough meetings against Poole and Glasgow we expected another one tonight.

“But the boys stepped up to the plate and we got a more comfortable win than what we expected.”
