PREVIEW: LEWIS KERR TESTIMONIAL, KING’S LYNN

LEWIS Kerr stages his Testimonial Meeting at King’s Lynn today (Sunday, 4pm) with a four-team tournament on the agenda.

Kerr has attracted an impressive line-up including Stars legend Niels-Kristian Iversen, who is set to line up for the club again in the opening weeks of the season.

Born in Lynn, Kerr’s career with the club started at National Development League level and he has also spent time as skipper of the senior side.

He said: “Everything is set up nicely, I’m looking forward to it and now it’s here I just want everyone to have a great day.

“The weather is going to be nice and dry so the riders will have great conditions, and I want everyone to leave looking back on a great day.

“I want to thank everyone involved in getting this meeting organised. I won’t be riding myself just because I want to be there to help out behind the scenes, it’s a lot of work and I’m not sure I could be a full-time promoter! It’s stressful!”
