PARRYS EXTEND WOLVES DEAL

FORMER speedway rider and manager Dave Parry is continuing his record-breaking association with Wolverhampton.

Parry, who rode for Crewe Kings and was boss of Wolverhampton in the early 80s, has renewed his sponsorship agreement with the Monmore Green club through his coach tour company Parrys International, to continue the longest-running team arrangement in the sport’s history.

Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten said: “Dave’s support is truly remarkable and very much appreciated by everyone connected with the club.

“The fact it is the longest-running team sponsorship in the sport makes us extremely proud. It’s particularly impressive when you consider the impact the pandemic has had on international coach tours over the last two years.

“We hope we can deliver the goods on the track and add another league title won on TV carrying the Parrys International branding.”
