BEWLEY GOES FLAT!

BELLE Vue No.1 Dan Bewley will swap speedway for Flat Track tonight (Saturday) as the curtain comes down on the season in Manchester.

The Aces are staging the ACU British Sidecar Championships interspersed by the Manchester Flat Track Masters, which will see Bewley switch from his conventional machinery with the line-up also including two former speedway riders, Paul Cooper and Rob Mear.

Director of Speedway Mark Lemon said: “We’re delighted to have both the British Sidecar and the Flat Track boys join us at the National Speedway Stadium for our final meeting.

“We’ve had the privilege of their company many times over the years and we’re looking forward to another very exciting night of racing on Saturday.

“The fact that our own Dan Bewley will feature amongst the Flat Track boys will I’m sure be a big pull for supporters who may not have seen a meeting like this before.”
