PREVIEW: PLYMOUTH v LEICESTER (Champ)

LEICESTER look to bounce back from their weekend home defeat when they visit Plymouth in the Championship tonight (Tuesday).

It’s a two-day Southern tour for the Lions, who also race at Poole tomorrow – the team who smashed their long unbeaten home record on Saturday.

The visitors are at full strength with impressive youngster Dan Thompson moving into the main body of the side, whilst the Gladiators bring in Richard Lawson to guest for the injured Jason Crump.

Leicester No.1 Hans Andersen said: “I’ve never been to Plymouth so it will be a new experience for me, but I’m glad my team-mates have been there so they can pass on their experience of the track – and if we work together as a team, then we win.

“Poole are a strong side as they showed on Saturday but we’re going to go there on Wednesday with an open mind, and we can probably turn them around.”

PLYMOUTH: Richard Lawson, Dillon Ruml, Zach Cook, Zane Keleher, Bjarne Pedersen, Alfie Bowtell, Jack Smith.
LEICESTER: Hans Andersen, Dan Thompson, Kyle Howarth, Ryan Douglas, Nick Morris, Zaine Kennedy, Joe Thompson.
