TIGERS PICK UP PICKERING

SHEFFIELD have made a team change with Josh Pickering joining the club in place of Justin Sedgmen.

Pickering has impressed with Championship side Edinburgh and now steps into the top-flight for the first time, with his debut set for the Tigers’ away match at Peterborough on Monday.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “We feel Josh deserves an opportunity with us, and it’s a surprise he’s not had a Premiership place before.

“As a club we would like to thank Justin for his efforts and wish him well, we hope he gets another Premiership place soon. We just feel Josh is the better option for us at this time.”
