TIGERS BRING BACK BAILEY

GLASGOW have moved to bring Connor Bailey back into their line-up after he returned to the UK from his native Australia.

Bailey, who started his Championship career with the Tigers in 2019, comes in for Jack Smith after initially planning to sit out the season.

Manager Cami Brown said: “This was by no means an easy decision; however, the prospect of Connor joining another Championship club having emigrated to the UK with his family and having set up home in Glasgow to ride for us, did not sit well with me and the management team.

“Speedway is a results business, and the management team and I will stand or fall by the decisions we take.

“It’s never nice letting a rider go, but Jack still has a lot to offer and I’m sure he’ll be picked up by another Championship club very soon.”
