PREVIEW: GLASGOW v EASTBOURNE (Champ)

CHAMPIONSHIP leaders Glasgow bid to get back to winning ways as they host Eastbourne at Ashfield tonight (Friday).

The Tigers suffered a late collapse at Scunthorpe last weekend where they conceded 5-1s in the last three races, whilst the Eagles are themselves looking to build some momentum.

The visitors have Jake Knight guesting at reserve as Drew Kemp is away on European U19 duty this weekend.

Eagles boss Trevor Geer said: “We remain confident that we have a team capable of winning the league and the cup competitions this year.

“With the play-off format that we see in so many sports now, it’s not always how you start, it’s how you finish.

“I feel sure that the team will click very soon as most have already shown excellent form at one point or another, and we can lay down a marker in our next two away fixtures at Glasgow and Redcar that we can and will peak at the right time.”

A limited number of fans are now able to attend meetings at Ashfield, but the club’s live online stream continues and is drawing in a worldwide audience.

GLASGOW: Craig Cook, Justin Sedgmen, Ricky Wells, Broc Nicol, Ulrich Ostergaard, Sam Jensen, Jack Smith.
EASTBOURNE: Edward Kennett, Tom Brennan, Kyle Newman, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Jason Edwards, Jake Knight.
