INJURY RELIEF FOR AUTY

SCUNTHORPE No.1 Josh Auty has escaped serious injury following his heavy crash at Leicester on Saturday.

Auty tangled with Dan Thompson at high speed in Heat 11, suffering concussion and being taken to hospital with concerns over his neck.

However, checks have shown no serious damage and he will able to return following a mandatory nine-day absence.

Auty tweeted: “Had a CT scan and it’s come back all clear. Will be out of racing for nine days due to the concussion. Thank you for all your kind messages.”
