PREVIEW: GLASGOW v REDCAR (Champ)

CHAMPIONSHIP pace-setters Glasgow host Redcar tonight (Friday) in the first of two weekend clashes between the clubs.

The Tigers have picked up 13 points from a possible 14 this season but are expecting their toughest test yet against the Bears.

They bring in Danyon Hume to guest for the injured Jack Smith, whilst Redcar operate rider-replacement for Jordan Stewart.

Glasgow boss Cami Brown said: “Friday and Sunday is a much bigger test for us – that team is loaded with good riders.

“At this stage I would happily take a one-point lead over them on Friday night to get the three points.

“Sunday will be really difficult – but we’re going into the meetings with loads of confidence.”

Redcar manager Jade Mudgway said: “The meeting away at Glasgow is going to be a very hard one. Glasgow have been unbeaten home and away so far this year but the Bears are up for the challenge.

“There is nothing sweeter than beating an in-form team at home so we will try and do just that! I think we are going there at the perfect time for the Bears to be honest, I think there is everything to play for and it will be a very tight match.”

GLASGOW: Craig Cook, Broc Nicol, Ulrich Ostergaard, Justin Sedgmen, Ricky Wells, Sam Jensen, Danyon Hume.
REDCAR: Charles Wright, Jordan Stewart r/r, Jake Allen, Anders Rowe, Michael Palm Toft, James Sarjeant, Jordan Jenkins.
