PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v KING’S LYNN (Prem)
KING’S Lynn have signed Ricky Wells ahead of tonight’s (Monday) Premiership local derby at Peterborough.
Wells becomes the Stars’ third new arrival since the start of the season, and comes in for Lewis Bridger who has asked to stand down for personal reasons. Connor Mountain also makes his debut at the East of England Arena.
King’s Lynn boss Peter Schroeck said: “We support Lewis with his request because we want to work with him and we send him our very best wishes.
“Hopefully this isn’t the end of him and we will see him back racing when he feels the time is right.
“We welcome Ricky into the team, a rider of vast experience and we are looking forward to seeing him in action at Peterborough for what will be a tough meeting for sure.
“We want to keep the winning mood going in our camp after our brilliant result at Ipswich on Thursday.”
Panthers manger Rob Lyon said: “We had a mixed Monday last week with the great effort to draw up at Belle Vue but then lost the return here so we need to correct that.
“We know how competitive the Premiership is this season and we will need to be at our best.
“The moves Lynn have made clearly shows how determined they are to get things right.”
