PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v IPSWICH (Prem)

BELLE Vue have tweaked their riding order ahead of tonight’s (Monday) clash with injury-hit Ipswich.

In-form Dan Bewley moves to No.5 for the league leaders, who have been run close in both of their home matches so far and were held to a draw by Peterborough last week.

The Witches bring in former Aces star Craig Cook to guest for the injured Jason Crump, with Aaron Summers also standing in for Cameron Heeps, and rider-replacement in operation for Jordan Stewart.

Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon said: “Being unbeaten is a nice place to be, and we would very much like to keep it that way against Ipswich on Monday.

“They haven’t had the best of luck recently with injures but they have chosen wisely by booking a capable guest in Craig, who obviously knows the quickest way around the Belle Vue.

“We know we are capable of beating them, we came very close to winning at Foxhall and I have faith in the boys to finish the job in Manchester.”

Ipswich manager Ritchie Hawkins said: “We are pleased to have Craig in as a guest booking, there is no pressure of expectation on him, he can go and race and have fun at a place I know he knows well.

“Cookie will come in and do a good job, he’s a rider that needs laps to get back into racing after a long break missing last season but I’m sure he will do well.

“As a team we need to really pull together with the guys that we have left and put on and show and perform. It’s a track that everyone enjoys racing.”

BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Richie Worrall, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Dan Bewley, Tom Brennan, Jye Etheridge.
IPSWICH: Craig Cook, Jordan Stewart r/r, Aaron Summers, Jake Allen, Danny King, Anders Rowe, Drew Kemp.
