CRUMP INJURY BLOW

JASON Crump faces a period on the sidelines after breaking at least five ribs in a crash at Wolverhampton on Monday.

The treble World Champion, making his comeback to league racing this season, came down spectacularly when leading Heat 13 at Monmore Green.

Crump walked away from the crash, but hospital checks revealed the extent of the damage.

The Witches have booked their former skipper Scott Nicholls to guest in Thursday’s Premiership clash with King’s Lynn at Foxhall.
