PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v BERWICK (NDL)

BELLE Vue are keen to turn the tables on Berwick when the sides meet in the National Development League tonight (Friday).

The Bullets were 52-38 winners at Shielfield Park earlier this month and travel to Manchester with plenty of track knowledge from former Colts Leon Flint, Kyle Bickley and Ben Rathbone.

Colts star Connor Coles said: “It’s a new day and a clean slate. I’m just glad we are finally getting our season underway at home. We all love coming to Belle Vue and we’ve put in some pretty good practice laps there already.

“It’s not going to be easy against Berwick by any means, but we’re pumped up and ready to battle, and with a few more meetings under our belt I think we will find the key to the track.

“Leon and Kyle have the benefit of having ridden for Belle Vue before, but our focus is strictly on our own game plan and hopefully we will finish the night with the win.”
