PREVIEW: REDCAR v KENT (Champ)

REDCAR face fast-improving Kent with both teams having plenty to race for at the Media Prima Arena tonight (Friday).

The Bears were held to a home draw by Berwick last weekend but remain very much in the hunt for a top-two finish, whilst recent home form and two draws on the road mean the Kings also have play-off aspirations heading into the closing weeks of the regular campaign.

Redcar reserve Jordan Jenkins said: “The Kent meeting is going to be a tough meeting for sure as they’ve got a really strong team from 1-7, you’ve just got to look at the likes of Scotty (Nicholls) and Troy (Batchelor).

“I think that Lewi (Kerr) and Ryan (Kinsley) can settle in and do really well for us.

“Personally, I’m feeling a lot better since getting my engine sorted and I’d like to say thank you to everyone who supported me whilst I was struggling but I’ve found the problem and I’m keen to kick on now!”

REDCAR: Charles Wright, James Sarjeant, Jake Allen, Lewis Kerr, Michael Palm Toft, Ryan Kinsley, Jordan Jenkins.
KENT: Troy Batchelor, Ben Morley, Paul Starke, Cameron Heeps, Scott Nicholls, Jake Mulford, Dan Gilkes.
