ELLIS TARGETS TITLE

SHEFFIELD and Scunthorpe star Adam Ellis is targeting a first British Final triumph at Belle Vue tonight.

Ellis, who will also compete in the Grand Prix Challenge this weekend, has been piling up points for both of his British clubs this summer and hopes to take that form to the National Speedway Stadium.

He said: “It’s a big meeting and I’m looking forward to it. I’m in it to win it, that’s for sure.

“I’m pretty pleased with the way my form has been, and I feel good with my fitness and machinery. I’m looking forward to Monday.

“The first aim for Monday is to make the top two and get straight into the final when we know anything can happen.”
