JOB DONE BY BEARS

REDCAR climbed to fourth place in the Championship with a 55-35 win at home to Plymouth.

The top six clubs are now covered by just four points after the Bears took victory with four riders in double figures.

Jake Allen (14), Michael Palm Toft (12+1), James Sarjeant (10+2) and Anders Rowe (10+2) all scored heavily for the home side, whilst Bjarne Pedersen (13) and Jason Crump (11) again supplied the bulk of the Gladiators’ points.

The 125cc rounds of the British Youth Championship were then won by Oliver Bovingdon (A section) and Edward Davison (B section).
