REDCAR host a bumper 34-race schedule today (Sunday, 2pm) starting with their Championship clash with Plymouth.
The Bears have not raced at home in over three weeks but remain in the top six of the league table, and they name an unchanged side with rider-replacement still in operation for Jordan Stewart.
Danyon Hume again steps in for Alfie Bowtell for the Gladiators, who are completing a three-match Northern tour.
Bears co-promoter Jamie Swales said: “We’re in for a tough test judging by the Plymouth performance at Edinburgh (on Friday).
“The Gladiators are starting to put some good performances together now and we are going to need to up our gating game and make sure they don’t get a shock result.”
The match is followed by 19 heats of British Youth Championship speedway with Round 3 of the 125cc/150cc class taking place. Redcar’s Cubs have three representatives in Becky Weston, Laylen Richardson and Edward Davison.
