PREVIEW: NEWCASTLE v REDCAR (Champ)

NEWCASTLE star Matthew Wethers suffered a dislocated shoulder and fractured arm in his crash at Redcar on Friday.

With Wethers on the sidelines, the Diamonds bring in Kyle Howarth to guest in today’s (Sunday) reverse fixture between the sides at Brough Park.

The Bears are still without injured trio Jordan Stewart, Anders Rowe and Jordan Jenkins, and have booked Ashley Morris, Alfie Bowtell and Dan Thompson to guest, with rider-replacement in operation for the isolating James Sarjeant.
