PREVIEW: IPSWICH v BELLE VUE (Prem)

IPSWICH have Jake Allen available for their first Foxhall fixture of the season against Belle Vue tonight (Thursday).

Allen has returned to the Witches to replace the unavailable Nicolai Klindt and paperwork is now complete in order for him to face the Aces – but the frustrating wait goes on for fellow Australian Jordan Stewart, with the home side using rider-replacement in his continued absence.

Both sides were winners on opening night, and Ipswich boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “It’s going to be a super tough meeting on Thursday, and we will all need to pull together and start like we did on Monday at King’s Lynn.

“We will have to put in a massive shift again to get a winning result and it should be a close meeting.”
Belle Vue star Richie Worrall said: “I’ve had quite a lot of success at Ipswich in the past, as one of them and as an opposing rider.

“That experience is something I want to bring to the team on Thursday, but quite a few of us are familiar with Foxhall and are confident in our abilities to ride it.

“Having got that first one out of the way has definitely settled us down, and some of the problems we had on Monday we’ve managed to resolve, so I reckon we can give them a scare.”

IPSWICH: Jason Crump, Jordan Stewart R/R, Cameron Heeps, Jake Allen, Danny King, Anders Rowe, Drew Kemp.
BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Richie Worrall, Dan Bewley, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Tom Brennan, Jye Etheridge.
