PREVIEW: IPSWICH v KING’S LYNN (LC)

IPSWICH and King’s Lynn complete the Southern League Cup group at Foxhall tonight (Thursday) with the Witches chasing their first win of the season.

The Stars have already qualified for the Final by virtue of three wins out of three so far and will look to complete a clean sweep at the home of their local rivals.

Ipswich welcome back Erik Riss and Cameron Heeps from injury and illness respectively, and bring in club No.8 Danyon Hume to guest for Paul Starke who is still ruled out.

Boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “It’s very important that we get a win on Thursday. The season hasn’t started great results wise, and it will be nice to have a 1-7 back of Ipswich Witches.

“We are at the stage already of the season for the fans that we need to get a win on the board and get everyone’s morale back up.”

IPSWICH: Jason Doyle, Erik Riss, Cameron Heeps, Troy Batchelor, Danny King, Danyon Hume, Anders Rowe.
KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Thomas Jorgensen, Josh Pickering, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Richie Worrall, Jack Thomas.
