BEARS TAKE VICTORY

REDCAR defeated Plymouth 48-42 to win their opening league encounter of the season at the Ecco Arena.

Charles Wright led the way for the Bears with 12 points and Erik Riss added 11+1.

Former Redcar man Michael Palm Toft top-scored for the visitors with 11 as they took a league point from the meeting.
