TWO IN FOR BANDITS

BERWICK have made a double signing ahead of this weekend’s fixtures to avert their current injury crisis.

The Bandits have moved for former Grand Prix star Hans Andersen to replace fellow Dane Thomas Jorgensen, whose season is over with back and neck injuries after a crash at Edinburgh last week.

Meanwhile Steve Boxall, initially signed for their NDL team, will step up to the senior side to replace Jacob Hook who is out with a broken collarbone.

Both new signings, along with fit-again No.1 Rory Schlein, are named in the Berwick side which travels to Scunthorpe on Friday and hosts Poole at Shielfield Park on Saturday.
