COMETS WIN AT THE COLISEUM

WORKINGTON are the new leaders of the Cab Direct Championship after a 47-43 win at Plymouth on Tuesday.

The Comets continued their impressive return to the senior ranks with a first away league victory, spearheaded by a 12-point maximum from skipper Craig Cook.

Claus Vissing added 11+1 for the visitors and Troy Batchelor picked up nine, whilst Alfie Bowtell scored 10+2 for the Gladiators who slipped to their first home defeat of the season.
